Lee Byung Hun Leaves for the U.S. for G.I Joe 2

Lee Byung Hun has begun filming for “G.I Joe 2.” According to the agency BH Entertainment, Lee Byung Hun left for the U.S. on July 21^st.

According to an individual from the agency, “After Lee Byung Hun arrives in the U.S. he will take some time for jet lag, and to analyze his character and prepare for filming, we hope that you anticipate Storm Shadow’s new charms.”

Filming for G.I Joe 2 will begin on August 15^th. The film will be released in the summer of 2012.

G.I Joe 2 is significant that it will have more focus on Lee Byung Hun’s character “Storm Shadow.” Besides Channing Tatum, Ray Park, and Lee Byung Hun most of the other main characters are being replaced. For the second film the French actress Elodie Young will play the role of a ninja.

Paramount pictures made the decision to only keep the actors for the more popular characters Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes because the first film did not meet expectations.

Park Shin-Hye in hospital due to car accident

The Korean actress is currently resting in the hospital and will return to film for her new drama soon.

Park Shin-Hye, a Korean actress who rose to fame with her role in He's Beautiful last year, was involved in a car accident on July 18.

Shin-Hye, together with her stylist and a few others were onboard her manager's 7-seater car when the accident happened at around 11.30pm.

The accident caused the front half of the car to be severely damaged, but all five passengers were lucky to only suffer from minor injuries.

According to the preliminary investigation by the Korean police, the accident could be due to the driver overlooking the dividing stripe at the road junction, one which separates their lane and that of oncoming traffic, resulting in him driving the car into the guard rail along the roadside.

However, further investigation is required to determine the actual cause of the accident.

Shin-Hye's managing company has confirmed the news, and assured the actress' fans that she is currently resting in the hospital, and will soon return to shoot for her new drama series.

Kim So Eun Cast in New Romantic Drama, ‘A Thousand Kisses’

Kim So Eun has been cast as the female lead for the new MBC drama, ‘A Thousand Kisses‘.

‘A Thousand Kisses’ is about two sisters who lead hard, but happy lives after their mother leaves home. Kim So Eun will play the younger sister, ‘Woo Joo Mi’, a bright character who never loses her optimism even in a harsh environment. She falls in love with a gentle guy named ‘Jang Woo Jin’, played by actor Ryu Jin while Seo Young Hee plays her older sister.

A representative for the drama stated, “Kim So Eun has been cast in ‘A Thousand Kisses’. She is set to join forces with Ryu Jin.”

Kim So Eun gained fame through KBS’s ‘Boys Over Flowers‘ and ‘Good Day For the Wind to Blow‘. This is her first work in more than a year, and so fans are eager to see her back on the small screen.

‘A Thousand Kisses’ is scheduled to air in mid-August following ‘Sparkling‘. Seo Young Hee, Ji Hyun Woo, and Ryu Jin have been confirmed in the drama line-up so far.
