SHANGHAI: You'd think hunky Taiwanese actor Jerry Yan would have a ton of admirers but that is apparently not the case.
According to Chinese media reports, the 34-year-old heartthrob lamented that he has not had any romantic encounters, since he went on a year-long hiatus to recover from his gastritis.
This troubling state of affairs led the dateless Yan to contemplate going on some matchmaking activities to find love.
"I've thought about it (matchmaking) before.
"To meet a girl that I don't know beforehand would be quite an interesting experience, but I have not had the chance to try it yet," said Yan, during a press event for his upcoming idol drama "My Wonderful Life" in Shanghai on Wednesday.
The former-F4 member explained that it would be rather difficult to for him to get into a relationship, as he does not know how to declare his love to a girl, and was clueless when it came to pleasing the ladies.
Still, the eligible bachelor said he hopes to settle down and start a family in the future.
"I love children. It would be quite a heart-warming scene with me, a big boy holding the hands of a small boy.
"I will definitely be the father who 'bullies' his children," joked Yan.
Cyndi Wang and Mike He had exotic bed scenes in idol drama "Love Keeps Going". This made Xiaomei self-mock that this drama had "three many": many lines, many kissing scenes, and many revealings (of his body). However, their good acting skills made the people at the side tease that there must be true love, causing the two who were bothered by the scandal to push to the director, laughing that it was because the director had taught them well!
The director also made Xiaomei reveal his butt. Eli Si laughed that Xiaomei had a better figure, so why not just let him show it! Cyndi Wang previously filmed an MV with Show Luo. Xiaomei teased that they were collaborating on the album, so Cyndi Wang replied saying “Our bed scene is powerful enough!” Xiaomei immediately cleared that their collaboration was on the mental scale!
Xiaomei also sang a song in this drama; however, he laughed that he had not trained adequately and thus was unwilling to sing live. He said that if the ratings were to break 2 points he would sing, but then changed his mind to 26 points afterward! Cyndi Wang praised that Xiaomei was very serious and also encouraged Xiaomei that singing could be practiced! When asked whether the two of them had a chance of collaborating in Cyndi Wang’s next album, Xiaomei immediately jumped in to say that his work was very busy; he only sang this time because of the character. He laughed and said that hopefully he did not scare anyone with his singing. He also pulled his good friend Joe Zheng into the waters. He laughed “If Xiaozong can sing and dance, I can follow his steps”. This made it seem like he had confidence with his singing, however, he avoided it when he was asked to sing live.
I never finish any of Mike He’s dramas before until now. Every time I started watching his drama I got bored after watching a few episodes. Well, maybe I don’t like his character in his previous dramas so even though how attractive he is I skipped watching any of his dramas.
This drama tickled my curiosity so I decided to watch it and it was good. Actually, seeing Mike He on screen is already good. J Such a yummy guy! Hihihi…. He was very good in portraying his character here as a big star celebrity. Sometimes I think maybe he’s experiencing the same thing in real life. Well, it was just a thought…. I actually feel him in this drama. I feel sad whenever he’s sad, I feel happy whenever he is. Oh, I think I caught Bo Ye’s poison. Hehehe… It’s just a little bit frustrating for the female lead, Charlene Choi. On the first episode, I thought she looked ok to be paired-up with Mike He. She’s cute, she has this innocent face that matched her character but there are some scenes that she’s a little bit stiff and expression less. I’m not sure if that’s really what her character in the drama is. Or maybe I’m just used to Korean dramas with exaggerated and funny expressions. Hehehe…
There are a lot of funny scenes especially with Bo Ye’s (Mike He) manager and childhood friend which made the drama a lot better. There’s also a lot of kissing… J My favorite kissing scene between Mike He and Charlene Choi was when Mike He was exercising. He asked Charlene Choi to help him hold his legs while he’s doing his sit-ups and every time his sit-up he kissed Charlene Choi. Oh, it was indeed very cute and from what I’ve seen Mike He is a hot kisser. Hehehehe…
If you’re a fan of Mike He I’m sure you have seen this drama and for those who haven’t give it a try.
